90th Chapter Meeting of AFSMI German Chapter e.V. in Co-operation with AFSMI Netherlands and the European Chapters of CFSMI - Symposium Service Business Innovation at Océ - Technologies B.V. Product manufacturers and service providers are currently faced with huge challenges. Innovations are needed in order to increase the value of products and machines and to keep them productive with the help of services. The development of new services with reference, above all, to the use and evaluation of machine data was the topic which the roughly 60 participants of the 90th Chapter Meeting of the AFSMI German Chapter e.V. were concerned with. The international meeting took place at Océ-Technologies B.V. in Venlo in the Netherlands. After an introduction into the topic and a guided tour through the Océ museum on the first day, vivid presentations of best practices and interesting scientific reports were on the agenda on the following day.
